When I was a Freshmen, my English teacher would write a question on the whiteboard and have the class write a response. We would all do this at the beginning of every class for at least ten minutes. The goal was to write at least one page before she began teaching. The great thing about it was that we could write as much of the response as much as we wanted to, and then branch off and talk about whatever else was on our mind. We did the question of the day to get the writing juices flowing, so I decided to create a question of the day page for anyone who needs needs to get into the writing groove. If you want to do this writing exercise the way I did it, remember:- Try to fill up one whole page (I wrote on notebook paper, but you can try filling an online document if you're up for the challenge).
- The page doesn't have to consist with your response to that one question. You can answer the question in one sentence if you want, and just ramble about random stuff for the rest of the paper.
- Perform an interpretive dance in celebration your mass intellect and wisdom.

- If you could control one element (fire, water, air, earth), what would you do for a job, hobby, or both with that power?
- If your pet could talk, what would it say about you and/or your friends and family? Humiliating stories? Complaints? Accusations? Details!
- If you had the chance to create a musical, what would it be about and what would the name? Bonus Question: If you could make a musical about the most pointless, dumb thing, what would it be about?
- If you had a chance to go on a quest, which one would you choose? Why?----------------------------------------------------------A. - If you could complete something on your bucket list an hour from now, what would you choose to do? Would it be something crazy? Something expensive? Something thoughtful? What would you do???
- If you could travel to the past or future, which one would you choose? Would you relive a special moment? Go to a historical event? See yourself in the future? What would you choose and why?
- If you could invent an app game, what would it be? Would it be like Pokémon Go? Candy Crush? Nerve? What would the goal be? Would it be complicated? Would you have different characters? ?:)?
- If you could instantly have a book of yours published, what would it be about? What would be the name? The characters? The problem?
- If you could have any question answered that had to do with anything, what would you ask? Something to do about the Universe? Santa Clause? Conspiracies? What do you wish to know the most????
- If you could create a Cafe' or restaurant, what would it look like, what kind of products would you have, and what would the name be?
